Dolce & Gabbana have launched a new perfume – but it’s not for humans

Known for dressing some of the biggest names in music—Beyoncé, Usher, and Christina Aguilera among them—Dolce & Gabbana has now turned its attention to an equally glamorous clientele: our four-legged friends.

The luxury Italian brand has unveiled its latest creation, a designer fragrance for dogs, complete with a hefty price tag.

Inspired by Unconditional Love
According to the fashion house’s website, the inspiration for this unexpected offering came from Domenico Dolce’s “unconditional love” for his loyal dog, Fefé. The result? A fragrance named in honor of the beloved pet, designed to pamper pooches with the same flair Dolce & Gabbana brings to their human clientele.

An Olfactory Masterpiece
The perfume, created by master perfumer Emilie Coppermann, is described as a “warm, cocooning blend” of Ylang, Musk, and creamy Sandalwood. Priced at €99 ($109) for 100 mL (3.4 oz), the fragrance comes in a sleek green lacquered glass bottle with a vibrant red metal cap and a 24-carat gold-plated paw emblem.

To make the purchase even more exclusive, every bottle of Fefé includes a Dolce & Gabbana dog collar, available in two sizes, complete with an optional engraved tag.

In the brand’s promotional video, impeccably groomed dogs showcase the fragrance while a narrator declares, “I am delicate, charismatic, authentic, sensitive, enigmatic, rebel, fresh, irresistible, clean. ‘Cause I’m not just a dog. I’m Fefé.”

The new fragrance promises to be an "olfactory masterpiece," according to the Italian fashion house.
