Rolls-Royce has taken luxury to a whole new level, crafting a one-of-a-kind car inspired by the iconic James Bond film Goldfinger. Celebrating the movie’s 60th anniversary, the bespoke Phantom Goldfinger is a dazzling nod to the 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville featured in the classic 1964 film starring Sean Connery.

This masterpiece took an impressive three years to complete and has already found its lucky owner—a mystery collector and die-hard Bond fan. From top to bottom, the car is dripping in Bond-worthy features, many of which are, quite literally, gold.

Among its standout touches is a gold-plated golf putter hidden in the trunk—a playful nod to 007’s legendary golf game with villain Auric Goldfinger. The car also boasts picnic tables with an intricate 22-karat gold inlay map of Fort Knox, as well as a stunning steel and gold gallery showcasing Switzerland’s Furka Pass, a memorable Goldfinger filming location.

Hidden details, or “Easter eggs,” are sprinkled throughout the car, making it a treasure trove for Bond enthusiasts. These include a gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy figurine and an 18-karat solid gold bar shaped like the Phantom itself, safely locked in a custom-engineered vault within the central console.

“It’s all about hidden gold,” said bespoke designer Nick Rhodes, explaining how the design team integrated 18- and 24-karat gold elements into the car’s iconic features.

Hand-built in Goodwood, England, the vehicle even allowed its new owner the honor of pushing the button that sent it off to be painted in its signature two-tone yellow and black finish.

While Rolls-Royce remains tight-lipped about the car’s cost, it’s safe to say this golden masterpiece comes with a price tag as extravagant as its design.
